Memorial Park has a walking trail (3-mile loop), a public golf course, a driving range, and tennis courts. Reservations have to be made ahead of time for golf tee times.

East River 9 is a par-three golf course that also has pickleball courts, a restaurant, and a bar. Reservations can be made on their website.

The Rustic is a casual restaurant and bar that has live music. They have two locations in Houston - the Post Oak location and the Downtown location. The Post Oak location is closer to the Houstonian and the Omni. The Downtown location is where we had our first date!

Ladybird's is a family-owned neighborhood bar featuring craft beers & tasty cocktails (as well as some of the best bar food in town). This is one of our favorite spots!

El Tiempo is a staple Tex-Mex spot in Houston. They have multiple locations in Houston, most of them being first-come, first-serve.

A Stevenson family breakfast favorite! From migas to pancakes, you can always find whatever you are craving early morning.

The Stevensons have eaten here weekly since ~2004. The main dining room is family friendly, but Club No Minors is 21+. We recommend both, but Club NoNo is our spot as we have all become of age. Beware of the margaritas!

Our neighborhood favorite! Ostia has incredible Italian food and the ambiance is always lively.

Hudson House was one of Katherine's favorite restaurants in Dallas. The recently-opened Houston location is one of our most frequented dinner spots, especially since it is walking distance!

River Oaks District is one of the best areas to shop and dine in Houston! We recommend stopping in Saint Bernard to shop, then heading over to the Toulouse patio for a cocktail.

Tiny's is a beautiful and yummy restaurant that opened in a nursery. The outdoor space is so relaxing and their chocolate chip cookies are to die for. If you don't have time to dine in, visit Tiny's Milk and Cookies next door to grab cookies to go!

Paulie's is our favorite casual neighborhood spot. We love to grab salads or sandwiches there or have some delicious pasta!
